The Creation.

Creation – “It was very good.”  Well, not quite.  In fact, from day one (Gen. 1:7), God actually said it was only “so,” — not good, and especially not very good.  In fact, in Gen. 1:2, where most translations state that God “hovered” over the waters below, the correct translation of the Hebrew is “brooded.”  Obviously, God did not think it “very good,” and thus the Bible records that day one was only “so.”  The same is true of day two.  Even day six, and the creation of people, is only “so.”  In fact, God’s reference to this creation being “good” is actually in relation to His overall plan of creating a process for our salvation (not the creation itself).  The Greek Amplified states – “it was suitable, and He approved (good).  God brooded, and He refers to the creation events as only “so,” because it has to be this way, as the fall (sin) has corrupted the creation of Eden (Rom 8:22 – the creation groans).
