Hello there. I happen to be a person who’s been unfortunate enough to have had a brain trauma; but you know, I really don’t like to think of myself as a “victim”, when I know that I’m not! So, rather than use a term I dislike, I prefer to use the term “survivor”. Like most people I know or have met that have had a brain trauma can tell you that in the blink of an eye their whole world changed; from the second it happens to you and you realize that your life, as you had known it, has changed forever, and will never be the same. And basically, that is the purpose of this Blog… to allow survivors to vent, ask questions, get answers, and to try to make sense out of their changed lives.

So, now that you are here, whether you’re a survivor, a family member or friend, or a caregiver of someone who’s survived a stroke, we welcome you!
